You gotta agree: this is the slide of your dreams! You rarely get as close to a slip ‘n’ slide water slide of the kind we discovered in the USA as you do at AREA 47 in the Tyrolean Ötztal. Crazy? You bet!
We’re taking the Slip ‘n’ Slide to the next level here in Austria: the slide is 17 metres high. Speed: up to 50 km/h. Adrenaline junkies’ and ramp junkies’ dreams come true: at last, you can fly! Up to eight metres high – and land in the lake. Safely too, ‘cos we give you detailed instructions beforehand!

Lying on your back with your arms crossed, you hurtle down 17 metres on a special rubber coating at speeds of up to 50 km/h. The incline lets you soar up to eight metres high – and then you land in the lake.

Your fun is important to us, but your safety is our top priority: our experienced Water AREA guides will instruct you in detail and we’ll provide you with a helmet and life jacket free of charge.

On the Slip’n’Slide, you can be catapulted into the water at speeds of up to 50 km/h.
Do you receive protective equipment?
Yes, you will be provided with a life jacket and a helmet. Additionally, the slide is supervised by our Water AREA guides. Safety first!
