How much does AREA 47 cost?
Admission prices for AREA 47 vary depending on the activity and age. There are different rates for the Water AREA, outdoor activities and special adventure packages. You can find detailed information about prices for individual activities, accommodation and packages on our website.
Is AREA 47 suitable for children?
Yes, AREA 47 offers numerous activities that are also suitable for children. The Water AREA has slides and attractions for children aged 4 and above, such as the Kids Slide (aged 4 and above) and the Splash Track (aged 6 and above). There are also special Kids Sessions in the indoor bike park for children aged 6 and above. However, some activities have age and weight restrictions, such as rafting (aged 6 and above with an accompanying adult) or the high ropes course (aged 12 and above, minimum height 1.20 m).
Am I allowed to fly my drone?
Drone owners must complete an operator registration, which is valid for three years. Online training and competency certificates (“drone license”) may also be required to promote safety awareness. More information can be found on the Austro Control website.
Until when can I cancel free of charge?
Our regular cancellation conditions apply, which you can find in our terms and conditions. NOTE: Special cancellation conditions apply for corporate customers.
Is accident or health insurance required, or does AREA 47 cover the insurance costs?
The specified price does not include travel cancellation insurance. We recommend obtaining appropriate insurance. Even with a medical certificate (illness or injury), we will be forced to charge cancellation fees. When taking out cancellation or travel insurance, the incurred costs (along with the necessary documentation: invoice, certificate, etc.) can be submitted to your insurance later.
Is it possible to book activities on-site?
Sure! You can book remaining spots online or directly on-site. However, we cannot guarantee that anything will be available. If you’ve already completed the beginner tour and are eager for more, just ask at the reception for availability in the advanced tours.
Is there a general ticket for the entire AREA 47?
Not directly, but you can either book your stay as a package online or customize your action trip according to your preferences. Many tours include access to the Water AREA on the day of the tour. If you stay with us, you can access the Water AREA from the moment you arrive.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are generally welcome and can be walked throughout the grounds/along the river. However, four-legged friends are not allowed in the entire Water AREA and Wake AREA (fenced area including sunbathing lawns). We kindly ask you to keep dogs on a leash out of consideration for other visitors and children.
Do you offer childcare services?
No, parents are responsible for supervising their children. Please note that there is no non-swimmer area or playground for toddlers on our premises.
