What types of accommodation are available?
Right on site, we offer different options: hotel rooms, apartments, and lodges – perfect for enjoying the AREA 47 winter experience in comfort.
Till when do I have to book my accommodation?
We recommend booking your accommodation in advance. Weekends and summer days in July and August are especially popular and fill up quickly. The sooner you book, the better.
Can I book accommodation without an activity?
Our accommodations are designed for all outdoor enthusiasts who appreciate short distances to activities and various attractions. Therefore, we only offer our accommodations in combination with activities. For more information, please feel free to contact us.
Which activities count as activities for overnight guests?
All activities except for: MTB rental and Water AREA.
Is there a pickup service from the train station/airport?
We offer our overnight guests a free shuttle to and from Ötztal train station. Please contact our booking team at info@area47.at or +43 5266 87676 with your reservation number and train details.
Are we allowed to leave the premises at night as overnight guests and return at any time?
Of course, you are allowed to leave the premises at any time and return to your rooms whenever you wish. Please keep in mind that our security monitors the area and may ask you for your room keys, as only house guests have access to the living area. Please also observe our quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM around the accommodations.
Is grilling or camping allowed in AREA 47, and can food or drinks be brought into the accommodations?
We are located in a beautiful landscape that needs to be largely protected. For conservation reasons, we cannot permit grilling or any open fires on the entire premises, including in the accommodations. We kindly ask you to refrain from bringing food and drinks into the rooms, as they attract bears. Camping in AREA 47 is prohibited. Violations may result in penalties. Please stay with your camper at a nearby campsite.
