AREA 47: How It Works

AREA 47 is not a single activity provider and not a traditional leisure park with a limited range of attractions.

Instead, AREA 47 operates a variety of outdoor and adventure disciplines as dedicated experience areas. Each area has its own operational processes, specialised equipment, qualified guides or instructors, and defined safety standards.

The strength of AREA 47 lies in the combination of specialisation and integration. Visitors can book activities such as rafting, canyoning, wakeboarding, mountain biking, or climbing as individual experiences.

At the same time, multiple activities can be combined with accommodation, food and beverage services, group programmes, corporate events, school trips, or camps, creating a comprehensive adventure destination for different target groups.

AREA 47: Activity Areas

AREA 47 Outdoor

AREA 47 Outdoor includes guided nature and white-water activities. These include rafting, canyoning, and caving.
Rafting is offered in several formats, including Imster Gorge Rafting, Ötztal River Rafting, Power Rafting, Family Rafting, Raft & Draught, and Innsbruck Rafting.
Canyoning is available in several formats, including Canyoning College, Canyoning Lost Valley, Canyoning Acapulco, and Family Canyoning.
Caving consists of guided cave and tunnel exploration experiences.

AREA 47 Climbing

AREA 47 Climbing includes activities involving height, ropes, climbing structures, and aerial experiences.
The Climbing area includes the High Ropes Course, Climbing Tower, Mega Swing, Flying Fox, Mega Swing & Flying Fox Combination, Bungy Jumping, and Valley Swing.
This area combines climbing, jumping, flying, and swinging experiences under professional supervision.

AREA 47 Mountainbike

AREA 47 Mountainbike includes guided bike tours, e-mountain bike experiences, bike rental, and indoor riding facilities.
The Mountainbike area includes E-MTB tours, mountain bike tours, E-MTB rental services, and the Indoor Bikepark.
The Indoor Bikepark offers year-round riding and training facilities with a flow line, jump line, pump track, and skills area.

Water AREA

The Water AREA is the water park of AREA 47.

The Water AREA includes an artificial lake with a natural filtration system, blobbing, Slip ‘n’ Slide, Cannonball, Splash Track, water slides, diving platforms, and a 27-metre slide and jump tower. The Water AREA can be visited as a standalone day attraction and is also included in many AREA 47 packages and programmes.

Wake AREA

The Wake AREA is the wakeboarding facility of AREA 47.

The Wake AREA includes a cable system, wakeboarding and waterskiing activities, obstacles, ticket packages, Wake School Basic courses, equipment rental, exclusive cable hire, camps, and the Wake Café.
The Wake AREA is designed for beginners, intermediate riders, and experienced wakeboarders.

Accommodation

AREA 47 offers accommodation directly on site.

Accommodation options include lodges, double rooms, double rooms plus, twin rooms, and triple rooms.
The accommodation concept is designed for active holidays with direct access to the various activity areas.

AREA 47 provides food and beverage services within the resort.

Dining venues include KITCHEN 47, Lakeside Restaurant, Beach Bar, and Wake Café.
