Arriving by train
The station you’re longing for: Ötztal Bahnhof. Arrive sustainably at Ötztal Bahnhof! Overnight guests get free pickup—just let us know a day in advance. We’ll bring you here and back!
Arriving by car
Take the A12 Inntal highway and turn off at the Haiming-Ötztal exit. At the roundabout on the Ötztal main road take the first exit (big archway!) and you can’t miss AREA 47!
Arriving by Taxi
Pickup is for individual guests only. Shuttles for school classes and corporate clients available on request. Our recommended partner for taxi transfers is Bahnhof Taxi Tipotsch.
New direct bus connection to AREA 47
From 06.07.2025 to 07.09.2025, there is a dedicated bus connection between Ötztal Bahnhof train station and AREA 47 – including return trips. The bus runs several times daily and also stops at the Ötztaler Höhe roundabout.

Summer Bus Haiming
From 10.07.2026 to 04.09.2026, the Summer Bus Haiming runs free of charge every Friday between AREA 47, Ötztal Bahnhof, Haiming and the Ochsengarten mountain lift.

How do I get to AREA 47?
The AREA 47 is easy to reach by car or train.
Your destination station is Oetztal-Bahnhof.
If you’re staying overnight with us, we’ll pick you up from the station free of charge and bring you back again, provided you let us know in advance. This service is available exclusively for individual guests.
For school groups and corporate groups, we can arrange a shuttle service on request. Please contact our booking team at info@area47.at or +43 5266 87676 and have your reservation number and train details ready.
Alternatively, local taxi services are available. Feel free to contact Taxi Tipotsch (+43 5266 88216) or Taxi West (+43 664 80 65 85 00). Both will take you directly to AREA 47.
What time can I check in?
Check-in starts at 3:00 p.m. However, you’re welcome to arrive earlier and enjoy free access to the Water AREA on your arrival day.
Is parking available?
Yes, there is plenty of parking available directly at AREA 47.
